Leadership

Dr. Addis Moore has been pastor of Mt. Zion for 27 years. He is living out his purpose of equipping the saints for the work of ministry to edify the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12). Pastor Moore embodies this purpose through his leadership, preaching, and teaching. Because of this driving purpose, he teaches and preaches the Word of God in a simplistic way. Individuals at all ages of spiritual growth come to understand what the Word says and know how to actually do what it says to get biblical results. Consequently, believers grow into whom God created them to be.

Pastor Moore's leadership expands beyond Mt. Zion. He has served as President of the Northside Ministerial Alliance, an Instructor in the Minister's Division, and a Board Member for the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education. In addition, he has co-authored the book, A Biblical Model for Christian Education - The Teaching Methods of Jesus.

Dr. Moore is married to Gwendolyn L. Moore, who is an entrepreneur at heart. She owns and operates Amazing Grace Home (an assisted living home) and Amazing Grace Ministries (a non-profit), where she utilizes her extensive nursing expertise. Dr. Moore is a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, and mentor to many.
